("GossipBearToons," "we," "us," or "our") provides the GossipBearToons mobile application, the website at https://www.gossipbeartoons.com/, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices and rights available to you.
Some features described below may not be available in every version, country, or platform. When a feature is not offered or used, we do not collect personal information through that feature. Additional just-in-time notices may be shown when a feature requires access to information or a device permission.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with the Services. It does not govern third-party websites, applications, or services that operate under their own privacy policies.
Vertigo Media Works Inc., a Wyoming corporation, is the controller of personal information processed under this Policy, except where we act in another capacity as required by applicable law.
If we offer sign-in through Apple, Google, or another provider and you choose that option, we may receive information authorized by you and the provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, provider account identifier, or authentication token. We may also receive transaction confirmations from app stores, analytics and attribution information from service providers, and fraud or security information from partners.
Depending on the features you use, the Services may request permission to send notifications or access selected photos, media, camera, microphone, storage, or other device functions. We request access only when needed for the feature you select. You can manage permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working. The Services do not access contacts, precise location, calendar, camera, microphone, or photos unless the applicable feature is offered and you grant the relevant permission.
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform our contract with you; to comply with legal obligations; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; or with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
The Services may offer paid memberships or subscriptions that renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Purchases may be processed by Apple, Google, or another app store or payment provider under that provider's terms and privacy policy. We may receive and retain transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal and expiration dates, product information, receipts, refund information, and purchase history to provide access, prevent fraud, maintain records, and respond to support requests.
You can manage or cancel an app-store subscription through the subscription settings of the store account used to make the purchase. Deleting the app or an account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
We may use viewing activity, device information, and general location to recommend content and understand how the Services are used. Where enabled, we and our partners may use cookies, software development kits, pixels, APIs, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies for analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising.
Advertising may be contextual or personalized, depending on your region, age, consent, and device settings. You may be able to limit personalized advertising through in-app choices, consent tools, browser settings, or the advertising and privacy controls on your device. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may request to opt out by contacting us at admin@gossipbeartoons.com and by using any privacy controls we make available in the Services.
GossipBearToons is operated by a company established in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual protections, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining your account and subscription, meeting legal and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the sensitivity of the information, the nature of the Service, applicable limitation periods, and legal requirements.
When retention is no longer necessary, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate the information, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling; and appeal a decision on a privacy request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email through the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. You can control push notifications and many device permissions through device settings. If account deletion is available in the Services, you may use that feature; otherwise, you may request deletion by email. A deletion request may not remove information we must retain or information that has been aggregated or de-identified.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. The categories of personal information we may collect are described in Section 2. The business and commercial purposes are described in Section 3, the categories of recipients are described in Section 7, and retention practices are described in Section 9.
Depending on how the Services are configured, these categories may include identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation; audio, visual, or similar information that you choose to provide; and inferences drawn from activity to provide recommendations. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 for targeted advertising. Requests may be submitted using the contact details in Section 16.
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In a country where a higher minimum age applies to consent to online services, users below that age should use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted. If you believe a child provided personal information to us in violation of applicable law, contact admin@gossipbeartoons.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the risks involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
